San Bernardino Utility Locating Projects that Penhall Worked On

locate rebar in a concrete block wall A mechanical contracting company hired Penhall Technologies to provide scanning at a detention center in Indio, CA. Penhall’s GPR Analysts have scanned many areas within this job site over the past few months for multiple venders. In this particular case, the contractor needed to drill holes into an 8” thick concrete block wall for plumbing pipes to go through. Before drilling they needed to locate rebar in the walls, so they could avoid it, assuring the structural integrity of the wall. A GSSI Mini XT, and a Hilti PS1000 was used to locate the rebar successfully and ensured that the contractor could move forward with drilling safely.

Identify underground utilities in existsing parking lot before building a 5-story parking garage
