PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Penhall Company was hired to widen and seal isolation joins across seven bridges in East Los Angeles. This work included Hobart bridge 1,100’ long bridge over 18 RR tracks in BNSF yard mere feet away from new bridge. Washington bridge partial removal; three girders and deck, including wire saw/wall saw 4’ thick partial abutment removal. Work performed between the remaining existing bridge and new bridge. Bandini bridge work included selective cap removal of bent that was built at the wrong elevation saving column rebar. Widen and seal 34,000’ of isolation joint that competitor was unable to perform.
