PROJECT
Jack Peters Bridge Saw & Seal
PENHALL'S ROLE & EXPERTISE
Penhall was responsible for completing saw cutting and joint sealing operations across the bridge structure. Key elements of our work included:
Precision saw cutting to prepare joints for sealant application
Installation of joint sealant using hydraulic squeezing equipment
Ensuring proper joint preparation to support long-term durability and performance
Coordinating work around existing site conditions and structural elements
PROJECT CHALLENGES, EXECUTION & RESULTS
This project presented access challenges due to barriers and railings being installed prior to the seal work. Penhall adapted by implementing creative solutions and adjusting workflows to safely access and complete the joint sealing without compromising performance. Through careful planning and execution, the team delivered strong results:
Developed methods to seal joints in restricted areas
Maintained high-quality seal installation to protect bridge joints
Completed the project efficiently despite access limitations
Supported long-term durability and functionality of the structure
Met project requirements while maintaining safe operations
