Penhall was contracted by Comanche Nation to handle the demolition of 11 steel buildings, 15,000 square feet of concrete slabs, and 50,000 square feet of asphalt at the USDA site in Tucson, AZ. The project involved flat sawing, concrete removal, concrete breaking, and GPR scanning to detect any subsurface obstructions before proceeding with demolition. Heavy equipment like a 210 Excavator and 770 Bobcat was utilized for the precise and efficient demolition.

Scope of Work:

  • Flat Sawing & Concrete Breaking – Removing concrete slabs and asphalt
  • GPR Scanning – Identifying subsurface hazards before demolition
  • Heavy Lifting – Using Excavators and Bobcats for large-scale removal
  • Tight-Space Execution – Efficient work in confined areas
