Large-Scale Demolition at Cobre Valley Globe Community Center

Penhall was contracted to perform large-scale demolition at the Cobre Valley Globe Community Center, preparing the site for redevelopment.

The project involved:

• Structure Removal: Demolition of multiple buildings on-site
• Pool Demolition: Removal of 13,000 square feet of pool deck, footings, and the existing pool’s bond beam
• Precision Cutting: Utilizing flat sawing, core drilling, and wall sawing for controlled demolition
• Heavy Machinery Operations: Efficient concrete breakdown and removal
• Debris Management: Careful planning to maintain a safe and organized worksite

This project posed unique challenges due to the complexity of structural removals and the need for controlled demolition techniques. Despite these factors, the work was completed efficiently and on schedule, ensuring a seamless handoff for the next phase of construction.
