San Diego County Water Authority – Pipeline 3

Penhall Company provide wire sawing to remove a portion of the SDCWA’s pipeline#3 so that the general contractor could have access to the pipe to re-line the interior. Penhall Company provided wire sawing, the general contractor excavated, picked and disposed of the segments of concrete pipe. First cut had significant issues with the wire binding. Penhall had to chip portions of pipe to finish the cut. The rest of the job proceeded without incident.
