Penhall was contracted by Piedmont Mechanical Inc. to cut, break, remove, and dispose of concrete pads supporting pressure machines at the AdvanSix Chemical Plant in Virginia. The project required wire and wall sawing techniques to precisely cut through the concrete while adhering to strict safety protocols in the active chemical plant. Given the confined workspace and operational restrictions, the team meticulously planned each step to avoid disruptions and maintain plant efficiency.
